*Spelling homework is optional. You know your child and I will leave how you study spelling words up to you. I have listed a few ideas below. However, if a worksheet is sent home it will be required to complete and return it the next day.

Optional Activities:
- Write each word 3 times each.
- Write the definitions to each word on the list.
- Divide all of the words into syllables.
- Put the spelling words in ABC order.
- Write a sentence using each spelling word.
- Boat write the words (Showed how to do this in class).
- Illustrate each spelling word. Be sure to write the spelling word under each illustration.
- Write all of your spelling words and circle the vowels.
- Write all of your words and underline the consonants.
- Type your words 3 times each (may use different fonts)- MUST PRINT.
- Write your words 3 times using different colors.
- Take a practice test on paper. It should be signed by the person calling the words out to you.
- Practice your words in a creative way.
